Homebuyer Education
Turn your dream into a reality
You know that buying a home is one of the most important investments that you will ever make. The question is–where do you start? Being a first-time homebuyer can be stressful and downright scary. Neighborhood Housing Partnership (NHP) understands how intimidating this process can be and works with new homebuyers everyday.
NHP has developed a comprehensive, four-week class to help prospective homebuyers learn about the homebuying process and avoid many of the common pitfalls. The course consists of four two-hour sessions that are held one evening a week with a qualified instructor. Participants learn in a fun and upbeat atmosphere while forming bonds and sharing tips and experiences with one another. In addition, each participant will have a confidential one-on-one session to review their credit report and counseling to address any credit problems. The cost for the program is $40.00 and includes all instructional materials and credit report. If you are thinking about buying a home, contact our office to find out how you can become an informed homebuyer.
